Thank you for stopping by my website. I am humbled to have any visitors.

I have a passion for sharing my faith journey, and the HOPE I have in JESUS.

It is my prayer that God would use me to inspire and encourage other women to BE REAL, and to love and know Jesus more!

This site has been constructed as direct "yes God" to His proddings, an act of obedience. I am apprehensive to be so public about life and my current struggles!

I pray God is glorified.

My current main blog, Picking Up My Mat, is a record of my journey to wellness and overcoming my sin of food addiction and self destructive habits. I also plan to organize my other posts via using two other blogs. Surrendering Daily, will collect my daily life stuff. Through the Valley, will have current and past posts from my grief journey.

Darci Salisbury, age 31. Follower of Christ. Princess of the King of Kings. Wife. Mother. Teacher. Daughter. Friend.

I am blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart for 13 years. He leads, provides, and inspires my family through his faithfulness, gentleness, and diligence.

I am a fully content mother of boys- Ving (2000), Hunter (2001), Tucker (5.10.03- moved to heaven 2.8.06), Isaac (2006), Isaiah (2007), and three unborn babies safe in the arms of Jesus.

By God's provision, I am a full time domestic engineer, aka- Keeper at Home.
I joyfully homeschool my boys and love my babies.
I am a physician assistant by education.
I love to write and scrapbook.
I enjoy the sunshine, beach, ocean, and being outside all seasons.

By the power of the Holy Spirit, I purpose to:
be real.
raise warriors.
live for my audience of ONE.
be still.
hear GOD.
live a daily adventure.
love much.
believe GOD.
obey HIS voice.
be kind, not angry.
continually surrender.
have no regrets in Christ.

I desperately desire to serve God, fully surrendered. It is a daily decision and often difficult to not live for my selfish desires.

I want to hear HIS voice and say YES to all HE asks of me - To live each day as an adventure with my Jesus.

I want to know my callings and follow them with passion.

Currently, I feel called to be a Keeper at Home, home school my boys, and accept the reward and gift of babies from God.

I pray to succeed in raising my sons for God's purposes - for them to be warriors for the King of Kings!

God is the Author of my life story. He is sovereign over my all. My story has pain filled pages I would not have written as He. I trust Him to continue to work out all the details of my story for His purpose... a greater, best-plan than I could ever imagine. It will be beautiful to read in Glory!

In 2006, my sweet Tucker moved to heaven. Through my journey of grief, God has birthed a new passion within me, to write. It began as therapeutic, and then ideas began flooding into my heart that I just had to write down - recording my memories, thoughts, and lessons being learned.

In June of 2007 I attended the She Speaks, She Writes conference sponsored by Proverbs 31 Ministry to learn more about writing. God confirmed my calling to write as HE leads. I do not know what God has planned to do with all my words, but I trust I will keep growing at the least.

I spent 2007 having a private blog, writing to the Lord - my audience of ONE. I loved it. This site is public out of obedience to God's proddings. I pray it blesses someone.
